Young’s Fall Farm Festival ~ FEATURED EVENT

If you don’t mind a little drive through the country, come check out the annual Fall Farm Festival at Young’s Dairy this weekend.  I grew up coming to Young’s, back when it was just ice cream and a petting zoo.  This weekend you’ll find that and so much more!  The festival of fun runs Saturday and Sunday from 11-6, with many of their attractions running beyond that.  See “Humongus Gus” along with pumpkin everything.  If it’s fun on the farm they’ve got it!

Looking for a more adult way to spend a Saturday afternoon?  Head over to Oak Grove Park in Centerville for the first annual Ales & Tails event from 1 pm to 4 pm.  Heavier Than Air Brewing Co. will be onsite along with the Craves food truck.  Bring your dog and enter yourselves in the costume contest (with prizes).

Deeds Carillon Concert

Woodland Historic Tour ~ FEATURED EVENT

Stroll through the grounds of Woodland Cemetery and learn about various Daytonians who have all left their mark; from the Wright brothers to George Huffman and Erma Bombeck.  This is FREE event (though donations are always appreciated), but it does require an RSVP.  The hour and a half tour will depart promptly at 6 pm on Saturday evening.
